Install AI Bot Tracking

Add one script to your site to track how often AI systems crawl your content. No login required for installation.

Paste this script before </body> on every page you want to track, or in your site-wide footer/header.

Platform-specific instructions

  1. Install the "Insert Headers and Footers" plugin (or similar)
  2. Go to Settings → Insert Headers and Footers
  3. Paste the script in "Scripts in Footer"
  4. Save
  1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit Code
  2. Open theme.liquid
  3. Paste the script just before </body>
  4. Save
  1. Go to Project Settings → Custom Code
  2. Paste the script in "Footer Code"
  3. Publish your site
  1. Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection
  2. Paste the script in the "Footer" section
  3. Save

Paste the script in your HTML template, just before the closing </body> tag, on every page you want to track.

Once installed, data will appear in your Lighthouse dashboard within a few minutes. Questions? Contact your Lighthouse administrator.
